The New Logo of Terre Haute Lodge, No. 19, was created by Worshipful Brother Matthew Lowe, Past Master and is full of symbolism:

-There are 19 Stars for the 19th Lodge, in the 19th State in the Union, which received Dispensation for Labor in 1819

-The Square and Compass is the universal symbol of Freemasonry.

-The Square Masonically teaches us that we are to square our actions by the square of virtue.

-The Compass teaches us to circumscribe our passions and keep ourselves within due bounds of all mankind.

-The columned portico is the facade of our home, the Terre Haute Masonic Temple. It not only displays the various architectural elements that are used in the teaching of Freemasonry, but is symbolic of one's entrance into our Fraternity.

-The Porch Light, specifically positioned in the center of the Square and Compass, symbolizes coming to Masonic Light.
